Hi, NOt sure if this is the right place I have logged this query
have an issue with accessing a secure website which i have published via IIS
On windows 2003 std. everytime I go this site outside our LAN
(https://abc.domain.com) i get prompted to choose a Digital Certificate and
does not show any certificates to choose. I just click OK and get through.
Have tried to install the certificate but always goes to OTHER PEOPLE STORE
and not to the TRUSTED ROOT PUBLISHERS.
Just F.Y.I this certificate is a an internally genenrated certificate from
one of our CA severs which is also internal. Also
noticed in Certificates.mmc on my PC that this certificate Intended Purposes
is for SERVER AUTHENTICATION. ANy ideas on how resolve this issue?
Followed the instructions on this link on how I installed the certificate on
IIS :
http://www.windowsecurity.com/articles/Client-Certificate-Authentication-IIS6.html
any help would be handy?
Thanks
