I have the most frustrating printing issue ever. I have an SBS 2003
Premium network with a terminal server for remote users [Server is
2003 r2] . Remote printers were working perfectly lexmark e332n and
Canon MF5700 but the motherboard died and i replaced the system. Since
the rebuild of the system client printers are not connecting. The
weird thing is lpt printers will connect, networked printers will not.
The other strange thing is that remote printing will work until their
machine is joined to the domain, once joined, client printers will not
connect.
The drivers are installed on the server and on the client machines.
I have rebuilt a new machine that was previously a BES server and
changed its role to a second terminal server and tested but the same
thing happens.
I have checked GPO both local on the terminal server and on the SBS
server and i cant find anything that would prevent client printing.
There is nothing in the event log. I am absolutely stunned by this
issue.
Thanks
