Has the clipboard functionality regarding file transfer changed under
Windows 2008?
Under Windows 2003, an XP client with RDP 6 installed can *not* select a
file in the remote desktop session, right-click and select 'Copy', and then
back to local desktop, right-click somewhere (e.g. My Documents) and hit
'Paste'.
In Server 2008, if you map your clipboard across but not any local drives,
you *are* able to copy files using the steps above.
Is there workaround to 'restore' the behaviour in Winddows 2003 so this
clipboard-mode file transfer is prohibited, unless doing it manually (editing
the file, copy the data, and then manually create a new file locally and
paste the data in) ?
Thanks
