Help wanted,please read!

Hello again,windows media player and most of my programs are shutting
down/crashing when i activate them.Do you have a direct e mail address for
microsoft support/technical help please??The ones on this website and the
help pages are NO good to me as you have to pay to use them.The last time i
asked on here recently someone was kind enought to leave me an e mail address
that worked and i was able to contact microsoft without any messing about and
i sorted it.The links and help on this site are no good for me as i have had
vista for over a year and i have to pay for help.Im hoping you can please
help with a decent e mail address or it looks like i will have to re install
windows which is a big pain!Thanks for your help,Paul.

No unfortuantely thats not the right one im talking about,that link is the
one to where you have to pay-looks like im gonna have to re install

Why do you have to pay? Is your copy of XP OEM?

Free support from Microsoft is only available for 90 days after the initial
activation of a retail version of Vista. After the 90 days, it's $59 per
incident.

I think installation support is different. Other incidents perhaps, but I
think installation (and reinstallation) support is always available for
retail editions.

you can do a repair install instead of a full clean install first to see if it will help.
