I am having a problem with just one user on my Terminal Server. We are
currently running about 15 people on a TS box (4 GB Memory 2 dual core Xeon)
as a test for an eventual 150 person company. Most people are using HP Thin
Clients. I have one user who keeps getting the 1508, 1502, 1515 and 1511
error messages when he attempts to log on.

I have downloaded and am running as a service the UPHClean program. The
problem is that when the user gets this error, UPHClean doesn't seem to do
anything even though it is running until I restart the service then it
unloads two user profile hives and then the user can sign on as normal.

Two questions: 1) Is there anything that this one user could be doing to
cause this?
2) Why do I need to restart the UPHClean program in order for it to work?

Thanks for any hel.

Re: 1508 error for just one user

Try to rename its roaming profile and check if this is causing the problems
for the specific user...

Re: 1508 error for just one user

Piet,

Since this person uses a Thin Client, he has no roaming profile to my
knowledge. The only profile that he has is in c:\Documents and Setting on
the Terminal Server box.
