I have an old Win98 machine that is being donated to some kids. I wiped the
drive and put a fresh install of Win98 from the original CD. I then
upgraded it to Windows 2000 with the upgrade CD we bought a few years later.
However when I upgraded I had the choice of totally removing W98 or adding
Win2K to Win98. I chose total removal of Win98, and convert to NTFS file
system.
Now when I boot it asks me whether I want to use Microsoft Windows 2000 or
Microsoft Windows.
I didn't want this to be a dual boot machine. There is a Windows folder and
a WINNT folder. How do I remove Windows98 completely (very small hard
drive) and remove the dual boot option at the beginning so it only knows
Windows 2000?
