Some of my users accessing the Server via Terminal Server. However, the
Outlook is locally installed. How is it possible that I can send an email
from my local Desktop and attach an attachement from the Terminal server?

Thank you

Re: Attachements in Outlook

Thanks for your answer Frane. However, I am new to terminal Server and don't
understand your reply.
What is UNC path or how do I map the drive to the terminal server? Sorry
asking that silly.
Thanks again.

Re: Attachements in Outlook

UNC paths are shares on the remote server (in your case terminal
server) example \\servername\path\user_files
share required files and folders and then map that shared as mapped
drives on workstation, that way users can access files located on
terminal server

Re: Attachements in Outlook

Thanks. Again where do I do that? Am I correct if I go on the local PC to
Windows Explorer and go to drive mapping and then enter the path were the
folders are located on the terminal server?

Re: Attachements in Outlook

Yes you're correct.
Please understand that before mapping drive on workstation you have to
create share on terminal server, and also you will have to enter
credentials that have access to shared files.

Re: Attachements in Outlook

Hi Frane,

Hope you see this post again and can give me a hint again regarding your
last post. I thought I did share it and gave it credidentals. However, I
cannot map it. Where do I go wrong and where exactly do I have to set the
shareing and set the credidentals?
Really appreciate your help.
Thanks
