All are fine if I log in local at the console.
Administrator has no problem whatsoever.
But many application terminate themselves in normal user's terminal
session, no error message, no event logs. Some programs, such as
firefox, IE, crashes quitely - I can see an hour-glass briefly, some
other, sucha as Outlook, may show splash screen then close.

Just don't know where to start for troubleshooting with no error
message. Any hints is appreciated.

Did this just start happening or was it like this all along? If it just
started happening, my first question, is what was changed/added or removed
on the server? Any Eventlog errors?

Did you put the Terminal Server in "install mode" before installing
these applications? That's necessary to enable multi-user
functionality.
