We run Exchange 2003 on a Windows 2003 cluster. I cant run the "start
quota maintenance" by right clicking, as a pop box occurs stating
Exchange quota service "RPC error occured". I believe this is an issue
with Windows 2003 / networking rather than a problem with Exchange.
Does anyone know what typically causes these kind of errors, and how I
might proceed to resolve it? I checked in the Event Viewer and there
aren't any notifications that seem to be relevant and correlate to the
correct times.

Thanks,

QH

Re: Windows 2003 Enterprise "RPC error occured"

There are many reasons you might see these RPC errors...DNS or WINS name
resolution configuration issues or errors, firewall settings, RPC service
itself, Cluster service account (in 2K3), etc....I'd start with diagnosing
the the Name Resolution items first.
