Hi all,

Several users are in the same OU as this user and have one policy to map one
network drive at logon through group policy. everyone can see the mapped
network drive when they logon to the terminal server except this user. No
matter which computer he uses to connect to the terminal server through
remote desktop and he can not see the mapped network drive. He can see the
mapped network drive in his local computer but not on terminal server? I
deleted his profile on the terminal server and still can not see the mapped
drive. I can not figure out why and can anyone help?

Re: problem with mapping network drive

To troubleshoot this, check the group membership of the user, and run
RSoP (resultant Set of Polices) for this user on the TS.

Re: problem with mapping network drive

Thanks for your reply.

I have to assign this user to the administrators on this TS in order to run
RSop and run it within this user session ?
I can not save data and I just click the items in the group policy and can
not find
the group policy defined in the ADUC for the OU.

Is Rsop the same as gpresult? What should I look for since others have no
problem? Will "enable the loopback processing" on the OU including this
server affect this?

Thank you for your help.

Re: problem with mapping network drive

Vera,

From RoSP result, found out that loopback processing replace mode causes the
issue. I changed it to merge mode and woks fine now.

Thank you.
