Hi

I'm currently setting up a machine with Windows 2008 server which I will use
as my developet workstation with Visual Studio 2008. But I have problems
finding a good antivirus solution. It seems like the only ones available are
bit, enterprise packages, but what I essentially needs is a simple AV
program. Any recomandations?

ESET NOD32 Antivirus Business Edition is very effective, very light on
resources and very cheap. Don't bother with the full suite (Smart
Security).

tried to install it, but it wouldn't.
Got a message saying:"This product version is not intended for server
operating systems,"
earlier I've used Nod on my Windows 2003 developer workstation.

Are you sure you tried the Business version? That should install on servers
okay. I have not used 2008 yet, but I checked to see if NOD32 is compatible
with it when I made my post, based on this webpage:

http://www.betterantivirus.com/nod3...nnounces-Support-for-Windows-Server-2008.html

That's over a month old, so I would have thought that NOD32 Business
supports Windows Server 2008 by now.
