I am running SBS 2003 SR2. I had KAV 5.0.77 installed. I have just upgraded
to Version 6 for windows files servers. Since upgrading I am experiencing
strange problems on the server.
When I click on search in windows explorer the right hand side of the screen
is blank where I would input the items to search for. No drive selection.
Nothing.
Also when I open the management console to view services. If extended
services is selected I see a blue square in the upper left. If I select the
standard tab everything shows up.
KAV for Exchange is missing configuration options as well. Nothing on the
right side. General settings, nothing.
When Backup exec v9.1 is opened the toolbar for Restore Backup Media Alerts
etc. is missing.
I have since uninstalled KAV. No change.
I believe KAV has done something to winmgmt or explorer but am unsure.
Please advise.

Re: Lost Functions

Before doing this - please backup your system.

Since you have uninstalled KAV, can you try a system restore? See if this
make the server back to normal.
