2008 TS CAL's on a 2003 R2 box??

Does it matter? I have a client who purchased a 2003 R2 box, but purchased 5
2008 TS CAL's. Are there any issues with running 2008 CAL's on a 2003 box?
Will it still run the same?

No, you can install them using your downgrade rights.
