Anyone having "access denied" issues with Offline Files in Server
2003? I have one user who keeps getting Sync Manager error messages
to that effect when she tries to make her My Documents and Desktop
folders (redirected to her user folder on the server) available
offline. Usenet and various Google queries all seem to point to a
permissions issue at the root of the share...but this problem isn't
affecting anybody else on the domain; I'd think that if permissions
was the culprit, Offline Files would be broken for everyone, not just
her.
I've tried the standard stuff to troubleshoot: reset her Offline Files
cache, unjoined and rejoined the domain, and even redid her domain
account. Yet the problem with her account persists, no matter which
domain workstation I log in from. She's not a unique user or
anything; she has basically the same security group memberships as
everyone else.
Thoughts, anyone?
Thanks!
