I recently deployed a terminal server and all my clients uses that terminal
server for connecting to the internet through an rdp session .my prob is
when they make that rdp conection the concole which they gets become very
slow and it seems as if they are working on Pentium 1 and mouse seems to
take ages to move and thus for sumtime i have to take that terminal server
offline as all my clients are complaining about it .
Thus i would be really obliged if someone can help me out with this and my
aim is that all my clients get proper speed on that concole of remote
desktop
Thank u in advance

Re: Urgent !

maybe you're using to high color depth and they have slow internet
connection. limit color depth to minimum 256 colors (8bit)

1.Open Group Policy.
2.In Computer Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows Components,
Terminal Services, double-click the Limit maximum color depth setting, and
then click Enabled.
3.In the Color Depth box, click the desired maximum color depth, and then
click OK.

gpupdate /force and reconnect clients
let us know is it OK now

Re: Urgent !

In addition to "Frane's" comment...

You might want to check your "tcp/ip frame size". On one occasion I found
that this resulted in a "slow-motion" (unbelievably slow) connection to TS.
In our case, this frame size issue was resolved in the Router.
