Im going to be installing a new server 2k3 in a 2000 domain with exchange.
Exchange will stay on the 2000 server but all data, etc will move to the 2003
domain. What is the best way of doing this? Is adding active directory to the
2003 server ok?

Thanks

Joe

Absolutely ok depending on your needs. However it does sound like all you
want this W2K3 server to be is a member file server so you gotta ask
yourself. Do I need a backup DC? Best way of doing this is to just join the
domain. If you need this to be a DC then you need to tun DCPROMO.
