Hi,
We use TS with Windows 2003. I've had problems over the past few weeks
with TS connections from home being dropped, and no more than 1 person
being allowed on at any one time. Yesterday everything was fine, but
then we had a problem and nobody could get on.

Today I simply reset our Netgear ADSL router, and TS worked again
fine. I've suspected that the problem might be this router for some
time. Can anybody give me any clues as to why this might be? Could
there be a setting on the router which only allows one user onto TS at
any one time.

Thanks for any help

Colin

Sorry, I should have said - it's a Netgear DG632 ADSL router

Re: Netgear ADSL router causing TS problem

Hi Bobby,

Try to configure the DHCP scope (client ip addresses) of the routers at the
home's different for each location (e.g. 192.168.1.x , 192.168.2.x ,
192.168.3.x)
I bet both of the clients have the same IP-address localy => I've seen this
issue only with consumer NetGear routers.

Can you check this?
