Hello,
I have been attempting to setup a mandatory profile for use with public
access library systems. The is a domain service account. I would like to
have the mandatory profile copy the profile from the local computer drive,
instead of a network location, each time the system logs into the dekstop.
Is this possible? I understand a domain account can have a mandatory profile
stored on a network server and a local account can have a mandatory profile
stored on the local drive. I need the domain account to use a locally
computer stored mandatory profile. I have tried some of these:
"c:\profiles" and "%systemroot%\profiles" in the domain account profile tab
Renaming the user.dat to user.man in the local profile requires reboot of
system - need to be mandatory with a log off and log on instead of system
reboot
Using the "Copy To" option in the "User Profiles" under System Properties -
Advanced Tab
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
John
