I have 2003 Terminal Server installed. One of my remote client has a Brother
MFC 5860cn locally installed and another client has a Lexmark X5470
installed. I am not able to install any of these drivers on the TS so they
can print locally. How or what driver do I have to install on the TS that I
can print locally. Thanks for your input.

Consumer-grade multifunctions and many printers simply do not redirect well.
Never install printer drivers on your TS box for anyone just to resolve a
redirection problem or you will destabilize your server. Check out
http://www.sessioncomputing.com/printing.htm for some other help/advice.

Make sure the client is running the latest RD client, too -

Re: Printer Drivers

Thank you for your reply. I would like to explain my setup a bit more. I
have about 5 users which regularly have to print. So what do you think is
the best and most stable way to achieve that. If you suggesting new printers
can you recommend anything you are having experience with. I don't believe
it is possible to have a LAN printer as the users on TS are not on the same
Domain, they are on a Workgroup. Or is there a way?

Thanks again.

It's really best if you read the link I posted.

Not necessarily - although an inexpensive USB printer is often the cheapest
way to fix this

That shouldn't make any difference. A good network printer would probably be
fine (e.g., an HP workgroup Laserjet), but again, read the link.
