Hey folks... I have a Windows 2003 terminal server w/ service pack 1.

Users will connect to the server and later disconnect. When they attempt to
reconnect later, a new session is created for that user. It becomes an issue
over time as dozens of sessions (and all their processes) will exist for each
user of the system.

Yes, terminal services is configured to 'Restrict each user to one session'.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thx for your time.

Re: WTS Multiple Sessions Created

can you please share the following info, when you suspect that multiple
sessions are being created for a user:

1 reg key value for HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal
Server\fSingleSessionPerUser

2 open command shell, run Qwinsta.exe, share its output.

Thanks
Soo Kuan
