Windows Vista Can't wake from "sleep" with USB keyboard.

Recently I lost the option of waking from sleep mode by hitting a
keyboard key. I was always able to hit the space bar to wake the
computer, and have lost that option. The Num Lock light comes on when I
hit the space bar so I know the USB hub is active. I must now hit the
power button to wake.

I can go into Device Manager and the option to wake from sleep is
checked for both the keyboard and mouse devices.

The BIOS offers very lttle in the way of options on the "Power" page.

Any ideas?
