Ive had this problem from day one actually after installing Windows Vista
Home premium. Its been maybe 6 months now and I thoought Id ry again to fix
it. My power bill is huge!
If I go Start then power button to put the PC into Powersave mode like you
should everyday it wont reboot unless I turn it off at the wall. All that
happens is the fan runs at a very high speed. The only way to recover from
this is to hold the button in on the box until it switches off then switch
off the wall power.
The Legit copy of Vista I bought doesnt have a boot repair function either??
As the PC took me two weeks to get set up I really dont want to do a
complete reinstall and as this was a problem from day one Im not sure it will
help. Any one know how to fix this? Thanks
