Hello,

I am having a problem with printing from my Windows Terminal Server. I would
like a default printer set for each user when they log on. I want to use
the same printer for everyone.

What is happening right now is: When logged in as the Administrator I can
add the printer and set it as the default printer. Printing works just fine.
However if I log in as another user the printer appears but it is not set as
the default printer. In addition applications do not recognize it. I have
the permissions set to allow anyone to access the printer but that doesn't
seem to make any difference.

Any help would be appreciated. This is Windows 2003 R2 SP2.

Thanks

Bill

Someone may know another route, but I just have the user
go into Start -> Printers -> and set whatever printer
they require as default.

I also have the user set the printing preferences too.
Painless and takes all of one minute.

Re: Printing Problem

But this doesn't work in this case. The users can not set the default
printer that's the problem.
