Morning All,
I currently have two domains OLD and NEW and I’m in the process of migrating
servers to NEW.
I have a DFS structure setup in the NEW domain and the shares are pointing
to a system in the OLD domain.
My question is: If I move the file server in the OLD domain into the NEW
domain (simply changing the domain association using the computer name tab)
will the DFS pointers break? (DFS is currently using the UNC of the file
server).
Thanks in advance.
