I have been trying to get RDC to work with my Vista - ultimate
system. When I try to connect to the Vista IP address, the RDC popup
winodw on the Mac just comes up and the segmented spinning circle next
to the cancel button just keeps on spinning. I can use the same RDC
to connect to a Win2K box. I can also connect to the same Vista sytem
using RDP from the Win2K box, so it doesn't seem to me like it would
be a firewall setting. The RDC I am using is 2.0.0 Beta 3. the Mac is
running OS X 10.4.11.

I just found out that CoRD has a beta release that seems to be
working for me fine
to Vista. Just sent them a little donation for their diligence and
discipline.
Open Source is such a constructive phenomenon :-)
