Hi,
I have a very small business with 5 client computers running on windows 2003
prem.
All but one of the client computers have no problems. Suddenly one of the
client computers won't print or access the internet. Interestingly, the
network computers are listed but fail to print but as experiment I tried to
browse for them on the network but got error saying no printers found. when
I try to browse with explorer error says to check connection which seems to
be OK - I can explore mapped network drives OK etc.
please forgive me but I am beginner and don't understand what has happened
and how to fix it.
I don't think it is a User issue as the same user can logon to another PC
and can print/Internet etc.
Any help as to how to diagnose/fix the problem will be appreciated.
regards

Re: 2003 client cant print or internet

Do you have any firewall installed (Eg, McAfee)? Can you try disabling all
firewall and see if it works?

Also, trace the network cable from this computer to the router on the
internet/printer switch. Check if they are connected properly.
