windows 2003 server dhcp

Hi ,

My windows 2003 server dhcp can't give ip to client.

DHCP server is active and connected but still my clients can get ip from
dhcp server.

Any Idea ?

Are you running a domain? Is the DHCP server authorised in AD?

Hello rairrocha,

Make sure that the server is authorized in Active directory and that the
scope is activated.

i'm not running a domain it's just dhcp server only

the scope look find and active but my clients didn't get ip from dhcp server

The scope is activated and not in the active directory only dhcp server
services.

Hello rairrocha,

The clients are on the same subnet or behind a router? If you assign a fixed
ip to the client from the scope, can you ping the server by ip address and
server name?

my clients are on the same subnet and i assign a fixed ip to the clients my
clents can ping the server .
