I got this PC to finally get going when I plugged everything back in. I
didn't even use the power button, I just plugged the power cord back into the
back panel and whammo! It started, but nothing came up on the monitor screen
and the power supply fan didn't turn, and yes I did plug the little 3 pin
connector back up to the mobo. I bet if I change the tower case everything
will be ok.
Ok, yes it is me. And if you don't want to answer anymore questions, then
let it be. There are enough professional people here that can answer
questions and not make a big deal about it.
Another thing is I tried to post another thread and I don't see it.
I just bought a video card from Dell. It's a GeForce 8800 GT 512 MB DDR3
PCI-E 2.0 Graphics Card. I bought it when I was upset and now I think I need
a new motherboard to use it. My Dell 8300 has the stock motherboard, and
wait, I can check with belarc.com and see what mobo i have on my Dell 8300
desktop.
Thanks, attilathehun1
