And all you are doing is regurgitating what has been said EVERY time a new
OS has been rolled out. It's called progress skippy. Each new iteration
requires more capable equipment to keep up with the requirements OF their
customers. If this were not the case we would still be running 8088's, CGA,
with 64k of RAM on a CLI. If you actually have worked in the industry any
length of time you would understand this. But as is the wont of all you
smacktards, you fall back on the old "Evil Empire" MS antipathy card. You
see, this is the way a business works. Companies are are out to make money.
In order to do this, they need to see their product whatever this may be.
Along the way, customers will indicate their needs/requirements. As these
things increase, this places heavier requirements on the systems. This is as
simplistically as it can be explained, but unfortunately, you smacktards
fail to comprehend this time and time again.

Here is an idea for you. If you cannot comprehend how things work, or are
too inept to be able to make your system function properly, then computers
are not for you skippy. Go buy an X-Box, or a Nintendo and game all day. It
is quite obvious from the posts you smacktards make that you cannot
comprehend how things work in the real world, and certainly are unable to
make it in the industry.

The problem Mike, is that his meds are clearly NOT strong enough. Me for
instance, I just needed a machine to replace my old XP dualie. I didn't care
WHAT OS it had on it, as I have my choice, and like many others I use what
makes me most productive. Unfortunately, as has been pointed out, time and
again, this is something Alias, and his smacktard crew cannot or will not
comprehend.

I got my Acer on eBay for $275, and it flies with VHP. And it damn sure

But Mike, didn't you know he subsists on an allowance from mommy and daddy,
and is relegated to getting his parts from the dumpsters scattered around
his town? This is why he is stuck running a free OS that cannot even break a
1% share on the desktop, and therefore cannot become as productive as the

See you don't understand the problem.
A clean install does not fix the problem.
There are an unknown number of machines out there that may be exploited and
you don't have any protection.
You don't even know if you can trust the servers you get your updates from.
You certainly didn't know if you could trust it when you downloaded your
install software.
What's more the server admins don't know if they were spoofed either so they
can't tell you.
This is what happens when you think you are invulnerable, things break and
when they do they break in a big way.
Its safe to say the problem could be the most serious problem this century.

Your best bet is to download Ubuntu and say Fedora. Pass them out free to
anyone who asks. As M$ loses share quietly, and fails to recognize
(publicly) the real penetration of Linux, they just dig their grave deeper
and faster.

As Linux is going to be the thing Microsoft can't stop.

No, I don't predict a MS demise, that will take 10-15 years. But Linux will
be death by a billion cuts, one cut at a time.

I think that is the point. Linux isn't WeSaySo corp. Want to run a
different distro, perhaps one that supports your language better, by all
means do so. No one is forcing, cohersing or bundling Linux. When Linux
gains a user, it does so out of free will and choice.

They ONLY deliver in the UK. Read the web site you quoted. I don't care,
personally, because I buy all my software in the USA and a friend mails
it to me. The last generic OEM XP Pro I bought was purchased from
NewEgg. Fact is MS is ripping off EU countries and you are trying to
defend that practice which, of course, reveals you to be a shill for MS
and an inconsiderate twit.
