See you don't understand the problem.
A clean install does not fix the problem.
There are an unknown number of machines out there that may be exploited and
you don't have any protection.
You don't even know if you can trust the servers you get your updates from.
You certainly didn't know if you could trust it when you downloaded your
install software.
What's more the server admins don't know if they were spoofed either so they
can't tell you.
This is what happens when you think you are invulnerable, things break and
when they do they break in a big way.
Its safe to say the problem could be the most serious problem this century.
