I have a Server 2003 SP2 file server that has worked flawlessly for
months on end. This morning I attempted to install the IIS components
from the "add / remove windows component" interface, it asked for the
standard the 'IIS_iis_switch.bat' file on Windows Server
2003, Standard Edition CDRom under i386 folder. Huh? I have searched high
and low but have been unable to locate this file anywhere.

So, my actual question is: Does this file really exist? Has anyone
ever seen this file? Did I do something to deserve this trouble, or
is this simply a problem with the sequence of installation events? I
have looked everywhere, and tried everything I can think of, any and
all suggestions are welcome!

Thanks,
Erik

Hello Erik,

Are you sure that you use the correct disk? The file should be included in
the iis6.cab file.
