Well, on my 40th+ machine with Vista Biz and it's been smooth once I
downloaded all the updates.
Most machines are HP XW6600 series with RAID-1 hardware raid and the
NVIDIA Quadra 1700 card - showing a 5+ on overall experience.
I also took a cheap BIOSTAR combo motherboard, video, 1GB RAM and set it
up with Vista Ultimate, was easy.
All these machines run Office 2003 Prof or Office 2007 Prof with Quicken
or Quick Books and the ones with the tape drives are using the HP Server
backup tape software (free with the DDS5/DAT72 drives) and seem to be
fine. We're using Symantec EPP and seems to not caused any performance
hit so far.
This is a big change over the initial release of Vista that performed
badly.
I may actually moved my own workstation over to Vista Ult.
