Active Directory Re-Naming

hi

i was wondering can an active directory be re-named or i should do all the
work again ? and can the administrator password of the active directory be
changed ?

Hello Pure,

You can rename the domain but if exchange is also running you should avoid
this. No problem to change the administrator password. But make sure that
all services, that maybe run with that account are also need the new password.

Hi - please see the reply to your similar post in the Exchange 2000
group. In the future, please don't multipost - if you need to post to
multiple groups, it's best to crosspost instead, by posting a single message
to a handful of relevant groups (separate the NG names with commas) so that
everyone can follow the thread. Multiposting wastes everyone's time,
including yours, and may lead to your actually getting *less* help rather
than more.
