RE: Problem installing KB922770 - error 0x663

Error: ".net framework 2.0 is either not installed on this system or is
corrupt"

Occurrence: SQL Server 2005 Setup

To resolve your corruption issue with the .NET Framework 2.0, please perform
the following fixes:

In this order:

1) Add/Remove Programs - Uninstall .NET Framework 2.0. Reinstall .NET 2.0
Framework.

2) If Solution 1 failed, please download and use the free Microsoft Cleanup
Utility, Select .NET Framework 2.0 to remove. Reinstall .NET 2.0 Framework.

3) Aaron Stebner's blog has a thorough cleaning procedure for the .NET
Framework 2.0.
