I have two TS servers, each one is running server 2003 enterprize with sp2.
I have a thin client running w2k sp4 that has an hp laserjet 1000 installed.
The laserjet 1000 is hosted on a pc with xp sp2.
I can log onto a TS session on one server and print to the laserjet 1000.
When I log onto the other TS server, my print job fails to print.
No errors are shown on the TS server in event viewer. I can print to another
printer on the TS server that is an hp 1320.
I have played with the print processor setup on the TS server to match the
server that works correctly and still do not get a print.
I can try to print a test page directly from the TS server on the
redirected printer
(while the thin client is connected) and I show an error for the printer but
still no
errors thrown in event viewer.
I have tried changing drivers for the hp laserjet 1000 both on the thin
client machine and on the TS server. When I change drivers, the print job
goes away
but nothing prints.
I have gone into the TS terminal services configuration and made sure the
settings match the TS that works. I have also done gpedit.msc and made sure
the settings
are the same for both servers.
What am I missing?
