Re: wmp11 "ran out of Memory" error code C00D11C6

This is not an issue with the MPEG2 Decoder. I have tried several
different decoders and the same error keeps occuring. I even disabled
superfetch to make sure this wasn't a memory error, but I am still
having the same problem as mftr. Heck, I even disable access control in
order to make sure everything ran as an admin. Still, it doesn't work.
Worse yet, Media Player doesn't appear to even try. Microsoft doesn't
seem to have a clue, either. If you click on web help it shows only that
there is no known solution. What's more, media player 11 for XP seems to
work fine. I finally gave up and ran VLC. It isn't limited just to DVD's
either. Certain types of streaming video seem to trigger the error as
well. This is a huge short coming on Microsoft's end. I run Vista
Business 32-bit, by the way. At the time of this posting Vista is
already in service pack 1. A problem that has existed since RC1 should
have been resolved by now. I'm totally baffled by this problem. There
doesn't appear to be any other explanation than a coding error in media
player itself.
