I have Server2003 R2 setup as a Terminal Server with Word 2003 SP3
installed.

I want the Word user templates option to point to another server where all
the user specific templates will be stored. I.E.
\\aserver\Word\Templates\%username%

Is it possible to do this from a default profile?

Thanks in advance, AStaley.

I'm fairly sure you can't do this via group policy, nor via a default
profile (everyone would be pointing at the same folder). The MS Office gurus
may have more answers, but I'd leave it in the default Application Data
folder (you should be redirecting *that*).. You can set up a workgroup
templates folder for your company's shared templates elsewhere (granting
Reviewer access only).

Okay, I've set my GPU to re-direct the Application Folder.

Thanks for the advice.

Sure. Redirect Application Data, My Documents, and Desktop - Start Menu too,
if you like. I put themall in \\server\sharename$\ and it creats subfolders
of %username%\<folder> for each.
