So my first domain controller in my environment crashed and now I'm
wondering how to cleanup. I've already seized all the FSMO roles over to my
second domain controller but I want to know what else I need to do to clean
up. For example the server still is listed in Active Directories Users and
Computer and Sites and Services. Should I just remove the references to the
old server?

Can anyone point me to a white paper or article that describes this
situation?
