I have been using RIS to deploy desktops and notebooks. My problem is that
while RIS works for 90% of the machines - some stop and hang at a blue screen
after the image is selected. On a restart of that machine, if you try to
image it again - you receive an OS Chooser v5.0 message on a black screen.
At that point, the machine can not be imaged using RIS. I would like a way
around it, so that I can image the machine. My "problem" machines, I end up
installing XP from scratch which is time consuming. The machines that do NOT
work have the same configuration as the other 90% of the machines that work
flawlessly. I am running RIS on a Server 2000 SP4 machine and am trying to
image XP SP2 images. Any thoughts or help?
