This may depend - if this is simply 'some' 32bit program and you didn't try
and execute it, then it should run without problem!
If you tried running it and it don't execute at all, then it may contain
'driver-like' components and cannot run in the 32bit 'emulation mode without
a 64bit upgrade (that may not exist?) of that component from the author.
You can dual-boot with a 32bit OS (then you have to buy a new OS!) and make
a parallel installation, or install a 32bit version of your existing OS
instead, which means a fresh install and that you delete the current one
completely!
You can see - there are variations, perhaps if you can tell us what program
it is, someone here knows more about your specific options?
You might even have an option to run it in a Virtual Machine?
