Hi all

I have noticed that on our DNS (Active-directory-Integrated), host(A) record
is no longer generated automatically/dynamically, when I add a new PC to our
network, I have to manually create a host(A) for this PC.
DHCP setting - DNS tab:

Enable DNS dynamic updates according to the settings below:
Always dynamically update DNS A and PTR records.
Discard A and PTR records when lease is deleted

No matter what I try, it won't work. it used to work well.
what I have tried:
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
unplug the network cable
etc.

Any help would be much appreciated

Re: host(A) record is no longer generated automatically

Hello vdz,

Is the client only pointing to domain dns servers?
