Hi I had a question regarding a domain controller configuration on my
network. I had 3 domain controllers on my network they all are on Server 2003
SP1. One of the domain controllers recently failed and I removed the
necessary roles of that server before taking it out of production.

Now the server is fixed, I have installed server 2003 and am questioning if
I can have this fully patched up with SP2. If I made this server a domain
controller like it was before but now with SP2 would that affect replication
because the other servers in the domain are still on SP1?

If anyone could advise me on this, it would be most appreciated.

Hello IT Team Queensbridge.bham.sch.uk ITTeamQueensbridgebhamschukdiscussions.microsoft.com,

They can coexist, but you should think about, to have all DC's on the same
patchlevel and up to date.

No.

We have 50 DCs that we upgraded to SP2 over a period of a few weeks.
