You would think that him being a Linux user he would be used to scouring
the Internet for solutions to problems.

In 45 minutes I had a complete Linux syste,
My printer doesn't work though because the manufacturer won't release
drivers.
I still can't get sound although I'm making progress. Who needs sound

My video card is stuck at 800x600 60hz but I have a new xorg file which
should fix that.
My laserscribe CD doesn't seem to work correctly. I never use that anyway.
I can't get my MIDI interface to work. I'm making progress though...

According to the Linux loons, updating just *works* and Windows is the
system that has all the DLL hell problems.

Vista passed Linux on all the commonly quoted web stats page after a couple
of months.
Even the iPhone browser is poised to overtake Linux.

Correct.
Finding Linux systems on any of these companies websites is an excercise in
frustration.
If Linux is such a big time seller why do these companies like Dell, HP etc
hide it so well?
