Hello,
I have a Win2k3 Standard SP2 server running ISA 2004 SP3. For the longest
time RDP to this server was working, then one day, a while ago, it stopped
working. I cannot RDP to the server from internal or external computers.
When I try to, RDC errors immediately stating "This computer can't connect
to the remote computer."
ISA is allowing the traffic through, however there are entries saying " A
connection was abortively closed after one of the peers sent a RST segment"
and after some research i've found this will occur if the destination server
is nonexistent. The policy is set to Allow RDP (Terminal Services) Server
from Anywhere to Local Host for all users all of the time.
Enable Remote Desktop on this computer is checked.
User accounts are in the Remote Desktop Users options.
Terminal Services service is Started, and the stop/restart buttons are
grayed out.
I've disabled, rebooted server, then reenabled remote desktop via the system
properties.
I've installed terminal services in application mode, then uninstalled.
I've disabled RRAS.
Nothing works.
I am now using LogMeIn to access the server, but RDP would be best. What do
you think?
Thanks!
