I found this interesting piece of information while browsing www.start64.com
"The Xerox Global Print Driver significantly reduces IT involvement and
eliminates the need to download individual printer drivers for each product.
This truly universal printer driver lets users print to virtually any printer
or multifunction printer—even to those made by other manufacturers."

This really looks interesting. The start page at Xerox is:
http://www.office.xerox.com/software-solutions/global-printer-driver/enus.html
and the page with all versions of the drivers is:

Unfortunately, this did not work with my Workcentre XE88.

I will most likely be setting up a dual boot using an XP Home 32-bit os.
