Well, I bought an other cheap BIOStar motherboard combo, case + PSU and
drives with Vista Home Basic 64bit and it installed flawlessly.

Setup was quick, installed MS Office 2003 SBE and it went perfectly.

Installed Symantec End Point Protection MR2 and it's running fine...

Took about 1 hour to complete, this makes over 80 machines running vista
without a hitch now.

Before SP1 I really disliked vista, with SP1 on good hardware it's
smooth.

Just did the same with an MSI motherboard combo, case + PSU and Intel
Pentium 4 3.4, Intel network card and Nvidia graphics card. Also Two SATA
HD's and DVI monitor. Using Avast virus protection. My third Vista install
this month no problems.
