Hi ,

I setup a windows 2008 server with terminal servcies , I enabled some
application to be started from tsweb , all is working fine but when I want to
connect to thses application from outside of my lan , i receive a message
saying that computer cannot connect to remote machine.
I have to add the ipaddress and name in my host file to work .
My ts server has a domain name , and i am able to connect to it in remote
desktop without adding the ipaddress in the host file , i ahve this problem
when I launch the remote app .

Any idea will be appreciate . Thank you .

Olivier.

Re: Acces to remote app

When you set this up did you allow the server to create a SSL cert for you?
Also if you did have the SSL cert created by the server you need to export
that cert out and import it onto any machines connecting to the server with
the remote apps. Also if you are connecting to the Remote Apps TS Web Page
you need to have Vista SP1 or XP SP3 for this to work also on the TS Web
Apps page only. If you are using created RDP Files for the remote apps you
need to have the cert on the local machine that was exported out from the
server. You also need to make sure ont he TS Gateway that the cert is
connected to the Gateway.
