I'm running a Windows 2003 x64 server. We have an application on a Windows XP
machine that connects to the server through 3 specific ports, all of which
are listening. When I try to connect, I get the following message and fails
to connect:
"Pre-Existing Host Connection. There are currently 1 other application(s)
connected to host: xx.xx.xx.xx"
I have never seen this message before. Has anyone else? We have a dozen
other 2003 servers (all of them not x64) that we can connect to without this
problem. There is a direct connection between the XP machine and the server,
and the firewall was diabled.
Thanks
