I am running an enterprise management app on terminal services that queries a
SQL 2005 server. Sometimes - the first time opening a window and then every
once and a while at very random but sometimes frequent intervals - the
application windows take an extra 8 - 15 seconds to open.
A partner we consult with suggested that this might be because the
application spawns multiple SQL sessions, and that because of the way RDP
interacts with those sessions they may be taking the extra time to open when
compared to a "real" desktop client session.
Does this make any sense to you? Have you seen something similar?
Thanks,
