Why is it on all my PCs, running mostly XP SP3, the Windows Update page lists
"Visual Studio 2005" as a product that updates are tracked for when none of
the PCs have VS2005 installled. In fact, some of the effected PCs don't have
VS of any version installed at all. Is this a Windows Update screw up or a PC
corruption issue? If is a Windows corruption issue, how can I undo it without
reinstalling the OS? Many thanks in advance.

Did you install SQL Server? I believe one of the versions installs a part of
Visual Studio, just don't remember actually what.

I looked throughj Add/Remove Programs and I saw no installaion of SQL Server
of any variety. I may had had the SQL server installed on one or more of my
PCs. But certainly, whether it's installed or not doesn't seem to be the
cause of this Windows Update issue.
